24” Multi-Spindle Drill/Saw Combo
The Peddi XDM-630 merges a three-spindle carbide drill line with a traveling double-miter band saw in one guarded cell, so a small or mid-size shop can drill, mill, mark and cut to length with one operator. Each drilling axis runs a 25 HP (18.5 kW) Siemens servo motor from 0 to 3000 RPM and carries a 5-station tool changer, giving drilling up to 1-9/16 inch, slot and cope milling with a machined finish, tapping, countersinking and 4-axis carbide scribing on all surfaces. Profiles up to 24 inches (630 mm) wide are fed by Roller Feed measurement without stopping production. The saw carriage travels to the material and miters up to 60 degrees each way, leaving remnants as short as 13 inches, while a remnant conveyor drops scrap and passes finished parts. Raptor 3D CAD/CAM software programs the line.
