The Ocean Terminator 18/42, built in Canada by Hydmech, is the largest band saw in the Ocean range, sized for the widest beams and heaviest sections that structural fabricators cut to length. It handles 18" x 42" at 90 degrees and miters 45 degrees left and 60 degrees right without re-handling the material. A 10 hp motor on a two-stage gearbox with AC inverter drive delivers 40 to 300 ft/min blade speeds on a 2" blade over 27" wheels, with direct hydraulic down-feed adjustment. Dual vises clamp both sides of the blade and an overhead clamp steadies large shapes and bundles. A hydraulic blade brush, 30-gallon flood coolant plus MQL misting, laser guide and digital angle/speed display are standard. A pedestal console offers semi-automatic two-angle cycling; Eliminator conveyors are optional.
