K-Series, Single Cylinder & Dual Cylinder

Sunrise ironworkers cover two families. The K-Series is a single-cylinder machine of 50 or 66 tons in which the entire main slide moves vertically, so punching, flat-bar and angle shearing, notching and bending all take place with straight up-and-down motion; models 66KB and 66KBN add an integrated 12 inch press brake or a 4 inch single-vee brake plus rectangular notcher. The S/SD Series dual-cylinder ironworkers, from 66 to 185 tons, put two high-speed cylinders and two foot pedals on five independent stations so two operators can punch and shear at the same time, with SD models offering a deeper throat. Both accept the full range of Sunrise punch, notch, brake and pipe-notch tooling, and dual-cylinder machines can be factory fitted with semi-CNC positioning tables or automatic shears.
