Primeline is the house machinery brand of COMEQ, Inc., a Maryland-based importer and distributor, and its hydraulic shear line is offered in two forms: the Model H swing-beam shear for general fabrication and the Model VR variable-rake guillotine shear for higher accuracy on a wide thickness range. COMEQ currently markets the line as Primeline by VICLA, the Italian shear and press brake builder, with Rexroth hydraulics, Schneider electrics and a Cybelec Touch 6 color touchscreen CNC. On VR models the control calculates rake angle, blade gap, stroke length and back gauge position from the material type and thickness entered, with a 40" ball-screw back gauge and anti-twist features. Longer or heavier custom models are quoted on request.
