Ocean Slinger & Stringer Slinger
Portable Beam & Stair Rotators & weld positioners
The Ocean Slinger is a self-supporting, sling-type beam rotator and weld positioner that lifts beams, columns, pipe, channel, trusses and stair stringers off work trestles and rotates them to any angle, so fitters and welders do not wait on a crane or forklift. Using a handheld remote, the operator drives an internal hydraulic unit that raises the column with polyester slings attached, then a direct-drive motor rotates the part to a comfortable height for fitting, welding or QC inspection. Units are not bolted down, so pairs can be repositioned for different beam lengths. Standard models are the 4-ton OSL4T and 6-ton OSL6T; a 2-ton Stringer Slinger and 10- and 15-ton versions are also offered. All run on 3-phase 460/480V power drawing about 3 kW and meet CE safety standards.
