The Ocean Avenger family, built for Ocean by Peddinghaus, is a compact single-spindle CNC drill line for beams, channel, angle, plate, flat bar, HSS and other long profiles. The standard Avenger FORTY drills holes from 1/4" to 1-9/16" through material up to 10" thick and pop-marks the positions of welded attachments, replacing manual tape-measure layout. The Avenger PLUS extends this to 48" tall profiles and adds an 8-station CAT 40 tool changer plus 5" of sub-X spindle travel, enabling milling of horizontal and vertical slots and cut-outs, face milling, tapping and threading, countersinking, counterboring, flow drilling, and scribing of layout lines, weld symbols and part numbers. Both import DSTV files from Tekla, SDS/2 and similar detailing software using Peddimat software. Aimed at small to medium structural and miscellaneous-metals fabricators.
