CNC Mandrel & Handrail Bender
The Auto-Rail is a CNC mandrel tube and pipe bending machine built for Automated Layout Technology by the German manufacturer Transfluid and aimed squarely at handrail and guardrail fabricators. It produces true mandrel-quality bends in mild-steel and stainless round tube and pipe up to 2 inch Schedule 40, handling full 20 ft lengths, with programmable bend angle, feed and rotation axes so a complete wall rail, grab rail or offset guardrail is formed in a single cycle in under two minutes. The software calculates distance-between-bends and stretch lengths automatically, removing the skill needed on a manual top bender and drastically cutting the number of welded elbows, fittings and grinding operations. It does not drill, cut or mark material.
