U.S. Industrial Machinery of Memphis, Tennessee supplies budget-oriented hydraulic swing-beam shears for fabricators, HVAC and job shops that need reliable plate shearing without a premium price. The USHS series covers 6, 8, 10, 13 and 16 foot blade lengths with mild steel capacities of 1/4", 3/8", 1/2", 5/8" and 3/4" (stainless at roughly half), with a fixed rake angle of 1.5 degrees on the models reviewed. Standard equipment includes a front-operated power back gauge with digital readout to 36" and automatic swing-up beyond that, stroke counter, electric stroke length adjustment, manual quick-change blade gap and multiple hydraulic hold-downs. An optional ESA 3-axis CNC control stores 200 programs and sets back gauge, stroke and blade gap automatically. Model numbers encode length and capacity, e.g. USHS10250 is 10 feet by 1/4".
