The 510-DGA is Peddinghaus's smaller double-miter structural band saw, intended as a one-operator standalone saw or as a companion to drill lines such as the Peddi XDM-630 or Advantage-2. A twin-column frame with a 3-degree blade attack angle resists vibration, and an electric ball-screw feed controls the cut for better blade life and finish. Individual sections or bundles up to 27 inches wide and 20 inches tall can be cut, and the double-miter head handles straight cuts plus miters to 45 and 60 degrees in both directions. Speed Sawing technology adds rapid blade approach, material sensing, cutting-speed transition, feed compensation, end-of-cut sensing and automatic retract. Clamps sit close to the blade for rigidity, a laser line reference aids manual setups, Minimum Quantity Lubrication replaces flood coolant, and an infeed shuttle with touch-screen control automates positioning.
