Structural Bandsaw, Heavy Duty, 20”x30”
The M-20A is Hydmech's heavy-duty structural version of the horizontal pivot band saw, sized for shops cutting large beams, channel, heavy tube and solid bar up to 20" x 30". The cast iron head miters automatically to any programmed angle between 90 and 30 degrees, and a cast iron shuttle multi-indexes material up to 33" per stroke so long structural runs are fed, clamped and cut without operator intervention. A 10 HP VFD true direct drive powers a 1-1/2" blade, while full-capacity hydraulic vises with hardened wear plates, hydraulic down feed, hydraulic blade and guide tensioning and an automatic chip auger support continuous production. The M-20A-120 variant adds a 10-foot (120") bar feed with powered conveyors for full-length stock.
