V-Series

Vertical Tilt, High Production, 18”x20”, 26”x21”, 30”x25”

The V-Series is Hydmech's vertical tilt-frame line for structural fabricators who need two-way miter cuts on beams, channel, tube and bundles. The saw column tilts up to 60 degrees left and right, so material stays put on the conveyor while the head angles to the cut; most models offer programmable go-to-angle mitering with a digital angle display. All models use true direct VFD blade drives, two full-stroke hydraulic vises with variable pressure, hydraulic positive down feed and cast iron band wheels. Capacity runs from the 18"-class VW-18 and V-18 models to the V-25 at 30" x 25". APC versions add a servo-driven shuttle indexing 40" to 60" per stroke (120" optional) and an 8.5" Mitsubishi FX5U touchscreen storing 1000 jobs for unattended cutting.
