Pivot Style mitering bandsaw, 7” controller, 13”x18”, 16”x20”
The S-Series is Hydmech's original horizontal pivot (scissor-style) band saw line, aimed at job shops, fabricators and service centers that need straight and mitered cuts on tube, bar and structural stock without rotating the material. A heavy cast iron head swings from 90 to 30 degrees and returns after each cut, riding on a true direct blade drive with no belts or pulleys and VFD variable blade speed. The line runs from the manual S-20 Next Generation, with a 7" HMI touchscreen showing digital miter angle and an Eco-Smart mist lubrication system, through semi-automatic S-20P and S-23P models to the fully automatic S-20A and S-23A, which add a multi-index shuttle and a PLC touchscreen storing up to 100 jobs. Options include overhead bundling, conveyors and AROSTOP measuring.
