48” Fiber Laser Structural Beam Processor
The Ocean Gladiator, built for Ocean by Penta Laser, is a cantilever-gantry fiber laser beam processor that replaces separate saw, drill and coping machines. Using a 20 kW source and a five-axis 3D cutting head, it cuts beams and columns to length, laser-cuts bolt holes and connection features, copes flanges and webs (including full-tongue copes), bevels to 45 degrees, and etches part marks. It handles wide-flange beams, channels, angles and plate with webs from 7.8" to 48" and flanges from 4" to 19.7", in 40, 50 or 60 ft stock lengths. The enclosed CE-compliant cell has triple safety interlocks, capacitive height sensing and anti-collision protection. Penta's software bulk-imports Tekla NC1 and 3D STEP files. Aimed at fabricators and skid builders wanting one compact machine for cutting, holes and copes.
